Smidgen Group delivers quality mobile screening, consultations, assessment & therapy for children under 6 years old.

Smidgen Group evaluates and supports the following communication areas:

• Communication advocacy and inclusion

• Attention, interaction and social communication

• Understanding and using language

• Multimodal/augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)

• Speech sounds and articulation

• Voice quality

• Stuttering

• Literacy foundations (phonological awareness)

Diagnosis and evaluation includes assessing and developing goals, a Communication Profile and Progress Plan with individualised, motivating and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.

A range of individualised and intensive speech therapy programs are available - developed and reviewed in close collaboration with carers and care team. Session location, length and frequency is customised to your life, goals and aligned with best-practice in research.

We accept funding options including NDIS Plan-Managed & Self-Managed, Medicare, Health Funds and private-paying. All Inner West mobile appointments include a flat-fee of 15 minutes travel, additional travel available by arrangement.
