Among many other things, Georgina is a multiply-neurodivergent, proudly Autistic therapist. For over 12 years as a speech therapist, then trainer and clinical supervisor, Georgina has been lucky to work across many fabulous environments with brilliantly diverse families, communities and teams.
Early childhood is Georgina’s focus and passion. In early childhood - progress is driven by carers. Georgina brings her guiding approach to Smidgen Group. Georgina’s coaching style is creative, adaptive and collaborative.
Georgina earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology at Sydney University. A certified practising speech pathologist, she’s registered and active with Speech Pathology Australia through participation in conferences, ongoing training and podcast-devouring. Georgina stays evidence-grounded and ever-evolving – informed by research, clinical life, and family life. Georgina is passionate about sharing her experience and expertise - helping therapists steer their career is a priority and a privilege. Coaching carers to make small changes in mindset and daily routines can make big differences.
Georgina’s training and experience has taught her to celebrate difference, centre participation and strengthen relationships and communities in her play and practice (she doesn’t call what she does work!)
Georgina looks forward to chatting with you!
